  1. Your mounting solution for 25mm nail strip seam systems. The S-5-N ("N” stands for nail strip) is a non-penetrating, standing seam metal roof (SSMR) clamp. The N fits popular 25mm nail strips, such as: Taylor Metals’ Easy Lock™, ASC Building Products’ Skyline Roofing®, McElroy Metals’ Meridian, New Tech Machinery’s FF100 and roofing types with similar profiles. Choose the N to mount to nail flange metal roof profiles with a base of rib dimension ≤ 20mm.

    The S-5-N Mini clamp is a more economical solution for lighter-duty attachments where Herculean holding strength is not required. It is a bit shorter than the standard S-5-N clamp with one setscrew rather than two.

    All standard and Mini clamps undergo rigorous load testing. Negative load normal-to-seam testing (pull-up) is performed on all Mini clamps, and parallel-to-seam testing (drag load) is performed on all standard clamps.

    IMPORTANT: The S-5-N and S-5-N Mini are designed to fit numerous (but dimensionally specific) 25mm nail strip profiles; however these profiles are vast with new variations coming into the market regularly. These clamps may not be suitable for every such profile. To avoid potential damage to roof it is important to verify clamp-to-roof suitability.

    • The S-5-N Mini clamp has an angled setscrew for easy installation; no special tools required.
    • Special design for "nail-flange” SSR.
    • Clamp insert facilitates best-fit installation; no special tools required profiles ≤ 25mm in height and with a base of rib dimension < 20mm without damage to panel seam.
    • Use for medium or light-duty applications, such as solar or satellite dish mounting.
    • Smaller than the standard S-5-N.
    • One T-30 Torx round-point setscrew.
    • M8 bolt sold separately.

    How to Install the S-5-N Mini Clamp on Your Roof Profile*
    Place the insert against the base of the seam opposite the overlap side at the desired location. Place the clamp over the seam and insert. Tighten the Torx Drive (T-30) setscrew against the insert to the specified tension. Then, affix ancillary items using the M8 bolt sold separately. Special design of the S-5-N Mini’s angled wall and nose engages the angular overlap portion of nail strip profiles during installation.
